Free State Swomp (Rustenburgerstraat 440) was squated on 11 July 2008 in the De Pijp neighborhood of Amsterdam. The land was turned into an ecological garden experiment, showing that a different way of life is possible-a way of life that is not based on the depletion of the environment.
